Help us REACH OUR $3,000 GOAL! Support a Dream Team Arts Scholarship & Help a Titan Student of Color Make College Dreams Become Reality.

Did you know that 73.7% of all Artists & related professionals nationwide are White (non-Hispanic)? This compares to only 8.7% Hispanic, 6.01% Asian and 4.4% Black.*

Giving opportunities to artists of diverse backgrounds from the start of their careers is critical. Representation matters, especially in the arts and we want to help change these statistics.

Whether you call Alexandria home, appreciate art, or want to help a young fine arts student of color get their start, we hope you'll support this scholarship! All funds will go directly to support a hard-working student who showed excellence during their time at Alexandria City High School. What better way to make a direct impact on a student's life?

About Jenny Casey, Scholarship Sponsor
Jenny Casey, a 2001 TC Williams alum, received a scholarship from the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria and graduated Cum Laude from James Madison University in 2005 with a BFA in Graphic Design. She's passionate about continuing The Dream Team Arts scholarship because she's seen firsthand the need for more diverse representation in the arts. She believes it's important to make sure everyone is given equal opportunity to express themselves from a young age, especially in the arts. Jenny is currently an Art Director and abstract painter in Brooklyn, NY.

About the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria... Since 1986, thanks to the generosity of the Alexandria community, the Scholarship Fund has awarded nearly $18 million in scholarships and sent thousands of Alexandria's neediest students to college--students with drive and talent who might not otherwise have the chance to attend college. At today's Alexandria City High School (formerly TC Williams), two out of three students live at or below the federal poverty level. Just one scholarship can mean generations of financial stability and success for an Alexandria student and their family. Want to help make a difference? When we all give what we can, we can create a scholarship and help change a student's life. The Scholarship Fund and its many supporters are excited to help ensure that the next generation of Alexandria students with financial need will have the opportunity to attend college. College scholarships really do change lives…forever.
