Please Give to establish 3 STEM Scholarships!

Technomics, Inc. is committed to spearheading a fundraising effort to have a significant impact and reinvest in our local community. With that in mind, we will award scholarships to students at Alexandria City High School. Recognizing the negative impact that social inequalities have on students of color, especially in the field of STEM, this is one way for us to help address this issue and make a positive difference.

Our goal? $12,000! That total amount would award a $5,000, a $4,000 and a $3,000 scholarship to three graduating seniors from Alexandria City High School in the spring of 2022. These scholarships will not be just for their freshman years...each awardee will get their award amount ALL FOUR YEARS! You can make a difference in the community and send 3 students with financial need to college next year.

The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria works to ensure that ALL Alexandria City High School students, regardless of their socioeconomic background, have the opportunity to attend college. At today's ACHS, two out of three students live at or below the federal poverty level. Just one scholarship can mean generations of financial stability and success for a local student and their family. Want to make a difference? When we all give what we can, we can create scholarships to change a student's lives.

The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria was established in 1986 to help ensure that ALL bright, hard-working students can afford college. We provide college advising, financial aid advising, college readiness support, and of course, college scholarships. Thanks to the generosity of the local community, the Scholarship Fund awards over $1 million in scholarships to Alexandria City High School graduates each year. Most of our scholarships range from $12,000 to $20,000 over four years and can often mean the difference between a student being able to afford college, or simply staying home.
